Forgive my negligence...

It has been eons since my last update. I have unfortunately really fallen down on the job with xanga. How sad. I shall try to do better now. I am making my update now from my lovely new MacBook Pro. It is wonderful; you should all worship it, really. Anyway, I am coming back into xanga with some prayer requests if you will all be so kind. First of all, I have a very important unspoken that has kept my stomach in knots for two days now! Second, I'm looking into going to Japan this summer again for about two or three weeks. I may go with DCF. I am really just unsure and in the process of prayer right now to see where God is leading me. Last, I had been praying for months that my best friend wouldn't move two hours drive from the border of Canada, and praise the LORD; He heard my prayers! So my friend is staying in Dothan (Praise Jesus!). So that's just a praise that I wanted to throw out for ya'll.
On a more secular subject, we had tryouts for PCS's upcoming production, "Our Town", and they went very well. I made the role of Dr. Gibbs, which is a fairly substantial part. It is definitely a huge part compared to the roles that I've had in the past, so I am very excited and thankful. We have our very first official practice tomorrow night. We will have a read through. It's exciting to be involved in a play again. Come to think of it, I've never been in a play. I've only been in musicals. It's always good to try new things.

Christmas Eve Update

Wow. It has been quite some time since I last updated. I have been so busy this December with things like exams, Christmas shopping, spending time with friends, and making time with family. I have been to the mall SO MANY TIMES this month that it is ridiculous. My parents have proven themselves hard to shop for, although it is indeed quite hard to find gifts for them in Aeroposatle, Express Men, American Eagle, and Hot Topic. The other night was much fun. We had our Christmas party among "the Group": Lauren, Kaitie, Morgan, Wil, Shawn, Ariel, Hannah, and Clay. We exchanged gifts. I gave Morgan a scarf that I dyed for her. It is blue and has the kanji for love and grace on it. She was very pleased. The night all in all was a blast. Tonight, Christmas Eve, I have the Maddox family Christmas at Uncle David and Aunt Katy's house. I made a DELICIOUS dessert called "Heavenly Pie". Let's see... What else is new. Ah! I am getting a Macbook Pro (15in 2.33GHz). I am waiting with bated breath for its arrival. After Christmas my family is departing for NYC for the new year followed by PCB. I will try to update again soon. Merry Christmas, Merry Xmas, Happy Holidays, Seasons Greeting, Happy New Year, etc., etc., and so forth.

College Dance...

It has been quite some time since my last update. This weekend we have been having our annual home show/open house. That always turns our life upside down and makes things interesting. On Friday night, the Providence Thespians performed at the Dothan Christmas Spectacular at the Opera House. It was lots of fun. We did a little skit that Mrs. Brolund wrote for us, and it went very well. Tonight I went with Annas Tew to the Troy University Wesley Foundation Winter Semi-Formal. It was very much fun. We had ballroom dancing lessons and dinner at Longhorn's. I had a great time finally getting to know Annas friends who I've heard so much about. I am very tired, so I will be going shortly, but before I go I have a request. I have an EXTREMELY important prayer request that I would be very appreciative about if you would please just pray for me/it. That's all for now. Merry Christmas!

New Cellular Device!

I have a new phone at last! I am so happy. It's not really anything amazing though. It is just another Nextel phone. It's not a camera phone (BLAST!), but it is still nicer than my last phone. You must all call me so that I can add your number back into my contacts, or you can post your cell phone number on the web if you feel really adventurous. I have recently discovered A Chorus Line, and it is WONDERFUL. Oh my goodness. So funny. I went to the NPF again with my mom's phone, and I lost it too! Really! It's gone. The darn fair just keeps eating them... Ok, so I am lying. It's not really gone. I had so much fun the second time (not more fun, mind you, just lots of fun as well). I actually ate fair food this time, and it was good too! I got kettle corn (Oh, heppy!) and cotton candy. Anyway, I have very much homework to which I need to attend. (Hoorah for not ending in a preposition.) That's all for now.

The National Peanut Festival Has Consumed My Phone

"Oh, Lord, Ooh you are so big. Thank you for this food. Bless it to our bodies and our bodies to thine service. Oh Lord, we thank thee for this opportunity that we may all gather together to celebrate one of your greatest creations, your peanut..." - My prayer at dinner before going to the NPF (National Peanut Festival for all of you who aren't so bright)

So, yes. My phone is no more. It has ceased to be. It has rent the curtain and joined the ring tone choir invisible. It is an ex-cellular phone. I was on a ride and I became nervous when I heard a thud behind me, and I thought the machine was going to give up the ghost with me on it. Well, luckily the machine didn't give up the ghost; my pocket gave up the phone. So if you want to speak to me you must call my home phone until I get a new one. I really hope that my number doesn't change, but I will let you all know if that is the case. Anyway, on Friday I went with Wil, Lauren, and Ariel to eat din-din at LaBamba (YAY!). After that we met up with Kaitie and her two WONDERFUL friends: Logan (a.k.a. Bost) and Hannah. They were terribly fun. Hannah is one of the funniest people I know (Annas, you must meet her), and Bost is wee and terribly amusing as well. They must return to D-town soon. We rode many a phone-ravaging ride and had a marvelous time. On the way to the NPF Kaitie got us so nearly lost, it wasn't even funn-... ok it was really funny, actually, but that is beside the point. She took us on a "mad duck hunt" (that is an entire other story). I went to Shawn's house and crashed, because I was staying at his house while my parents were gone. There is more funny to come, but I need to go now, so bye-bye.
